Classic Chevrolet is family owned by Tom Durant. The Durant family has been in the Chevrolet business since 1960. Tom Durant owned his first dealership in 1972. He purchased Classic Chevrolet in 1988. An opportunity to relocate in 1992 allowed Classic Chevrolet and its employees to move to Grapevine Texas on an 11 acre 65,000 sq. ft. facility.
In the last 18 years, Classic Chevrolet has expanded to 22 acres, with a HUGE Truck Center, an enormous separate facility for pre-owned vehicles and a state-of-the-art Body Shop, making Classic Chevrolet one of the largest new and pre-owned vehicle retailers in the area.
We are located within 2 miles of the North end of DFW Airport and at the intersection of SH 114 & 121 on William D. Tate Blvd. In other words, we're right in the heart of the Metroplex. Easy to get to from either the Dallas or Fort Worth side.
Tom now owns nine dealerships: Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine Texas; Classic Chevrolet Pontiac Buick Granbury Texas; Mike Brown Ford and Mike Brown Chrysler Jeep in Granbury Texas; Classic Lincoln Mercury Mazda in Denton, and Classic Buick Pontiac GMC in Arlington Texas; Classic Buick Pontiac GMC of Carrollton; Classic Chevrolet of Sugarland and Stingray Chevrolet in Tampa Florida.
